How long is the warranty for?   90 days

What if I tampered the system, is it still under warranty?   Any console that was tampered with will receive no warranty.

When shipping out a system, do I need to send Power or Av cords?   No you don't have to.

How long does the repair take?   Usually 1-5 days. For YLOD,RROD and Errors Codes usually about 1-2 weeks depending on how many I get, because there is a process. If we are out of stock of a part I will contact you.

What happens if I took the system apart, would this be a problem?   We do not have a problem with this, however, we will ask that you provide a detail of what you did.

How do I know when my console/handheld is repaired?
You will be contacted through email and you will receive a payment request.               Repair Form

What payments do you accept?
Credit Card, Check, Money Order and Cash(local).
A quote will be emailed to you, once confirmed Dr. Gamefix will start the repair and then when the repair is completed, Dr. Gamefix will email you with a payment request.

What if I send more then one system if for repair, do I get a discount?
Yes you do.

What happens if the system can't be repaired?
Dr. Gamefix successfully repairs majority of the systems, but if its not repairable you have an option of selling it for parts or have it shipped back to you.

How much is shipping?
The customer will pay for shipping to get the console/handheld for repair. Dr. Gamefix will send the system back to you for free.

How much do you charge for an estimate?
You will get a free diagnostic test with all repairs, but if you don't want the repairs performed there will be a bench fee of $15.95 plus shipping/handling

What is thermal compound?
Thermal compound is necessary to create a reliable transfer of heat from your processors to its heat sink to keep your CPU/GPU from overheating.
